Rio Verde Guacamole Recipe

Add a Southwestern twist to your classic guacamole with Goldwater’s Rio Verde Tomatillo Salsa. This vibrant and flavorful dip is perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients:

  • 4 ripe avocados, mashed
  • ½ jar Goldwater’s Rio Verde Tomatillo Salsa
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lime or ½ lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  • Prepare the Avocados:
    • In a medium bowl, mash the ripe avocados until smooth.
  • Mix Ingredients:
    • Add the Goldwater’s Rio Verde Tomatillo Salsa, finely diced onion, minced garlic, and lime or lemon juice to the mashed avocados.
  • Season:
    • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well to combine all ingredients.
  • Chill:
    • Cover the bowl and chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Serve:
    • Serve with chips or fresh vegetables.

    Yield:

    Makes about 4 cups.
