The Senator's Chili Recipe

Warm up with the rich, hearty flavors of The Senator's Chili, a classic Southwestern dish created by Senator Barry Goldwater himself. This robust chili features lean ground beef, a trio of beans, and a flavorful blend of spices from The Senator's Chili Mix. Perfect for family dinners or casual gatherings, this recipe is sure to satisfy and impress.

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs Ground Beef, Lean, Drain Fat
  • 1 (28 oz) can Tomato Sauce or Crushed Tomatoes
  • 1 can Water or Beer
  • 1 packet The Senator's Chili Mix
  • 1 can Pinto Beans, Rinsed and Drained
  • 1 can Kidney Beans, Rinsed and Drained
  • 1 can Black Beans, Rinsed and Drained

Instructions:

  1. In a medium-sized pan, combine the drained ground beef, tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes, and one can of water or beer. Cook on low heat.
  2. Stir in The Senator's Chili Mix packet and mix well. Cover and let simmer for 30 minutes.
  3. Add the pinto, kidney, and black beans. Continue to simmer for another 30 minutes to blend the flavors.
